We understand that traditional four-year Little Rock, Arkansas colleges aren't for everyone. Many adults are juggling the demands of work and family, but still want to earn a college education in the form of either a diploma or degree. Remington College in Little Rock offers associate's degree programs in Criminal Justice and College Diploma Programs in Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding, X-Ray Technician Training Program and Pharmacy Technician training.

Little Rock Associate's Degree Programs:

• Criminal Justice Degree Program The Associate's degree in Criminal Justice provides training in corrections, crime scene analysis, evidence handling, safety, criminal prosecution and trials, and inmate control. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in corrections, loss prevention and security.⁽¹⁾

  Medical Assistant Training Program The Medical Assistant Diploma Program provides training for both clinical and administrative procedures with courses taught by instructors with real-world experience. Upon completion of the program in as few as 8 months, graduates should be prepared to work a medical assistant in places like physicians' offices, outpatient care centers, and public or private hospitals.⁽¹⁾

  X-Ray Technician Training Program The curriculum for the college diploma program in Medical Assisting with X-Ray Tech (Limited Scope) and EKG provides instruction in both administrative and clinical medical assisting, as well as limited X-ray and EKG procedures. In addition to developing skills that are used in clinical settings, students at the Little Rock, Arkansas campus learn X-ray and EKG techniques, have the opportunity to participate in externship training in a real medical diagnostics office,⁽¹⁾ and can earn their diploma in as few as 12 months.

• Medical Billing and Coding Training Program This Medical Billing and Coding Diploma Program is designed to prepare students to become an entry-level coder in medical offices, hospitals, insurance companies, and government agencies in as few as 9 months.⁽¹⁾ The curriculum covers medical billing systems, fundamentals of anatomy and physiology, HIPAA regulations, and medical terminology.

  Little Rock Pharmacy Technician Training Program The Pharmacy Technician Diploma Program covers courses in pharmacology, anatomy/physiology, dosage calculations, and more. In additional to traditional teaching, students also have the opportunity to train in a real pharmacy setting, working side-by-side with pharmacists.
